“ Very warm and very nice cafe , serve a lot of western food, local food ,Thai food & vegetarian food. It’s suitable for family gatherings, I’m like the coffee & the butter pandan toste. ”
“ The area is pleasant with lots of natural sunlight and plants, plus it’s very photogenic. There are many fans so it’s nice and cool but even so there is an indoor seating area. However the music is a bit too noisy. The pond has very cute fish, and all the drinks are very good especially the dumplings. All the food is very affordable with generous portions. Highly recommended!!! ”
“ Best food we had all weekend. The mango smoothie was just perfect and my noodle dish was so tasty. My partner had the green curry soup and that was amazing. Great aquarium to watch and loved th mini in the front. Great service. ”
“ Snacking at Coffee Island, Penang Was out before the weekend to Penang with the club mostly to play pickleball. We played at Picklemotion and walked to Gurney Plaza. The queue at Oriental Coffee was super long. So we walked back to the hotel. Walked further to Coffee Island Café. They displayed part of their menu at the entrance. They have interesting decorations. I guess the little fishes were ornamental. The lunch menu was not ready but it was only about 15 minutes before 11am. I had a heavy breakfast and was afraid the portion would be too heavy for early lunch. So I didn’t order any food. So we ordered drinks and I got a simple soya milk with grass jelly. One of our friend ordered fried lao shu and it took a while to serve. The portion was indeed quite big. He shared with a few of us and it was good enough we finished the whole thing before taking picture. A couple of guys came later and ordered the same thing and we managed to get a photo of the before after the after. ”
“ Kaya is tasty as it has pandan fragrant. The coffee with fresh milk is a good combination. Coconut milk chicken rice set is definitely Return visit - Lemongrass squid rice set - the squid is tender and the gravy is fragrant. The kaya butter toast is still as tasty as the 1st visit. ”
